About Us
Our beginnings started out in the Dome Home industry. It was the 1980’s and the revolution had begun! To blow a giant rubber balloon, spray a polystyrene over it, and then gunnite over that – sandwiching in synthetic concrete on both sides of the foam created a wall block unlike any other! The speed and efficiency of how these Dome structures were built created a frenzy within the construction industry, and why not? Your talking about a fully fire resistant, termite proof, water resistant, mildew proof, rust proof, mold proof home! Withstanding category 5 winds (240 mph) and structurally engineered to not crack during earthquake. Everyone wants this type of home!
About Us
Fast forward 30 years and the structural designs have dramatacally changed. Offsetting some of the regulatory problems. After 3 years of working with the building department we locked in our first permits. Two years later, two story was approved! This past decade everything has been a process, but one that is worth every moment considering it will forever change the way homes are built!
omposite Blocking System (CBS) is a multi-patented, composite building system that utilizes Expanded Polystyrene (EPS) as the core material for all structural members – walls, roof, floor – that is sprayed with a proprietary composite coating made up of a precise blend of sand, glass fiber and other additives that together create a building shell that meets or exceeds all testing protocols and load requirements of the ICC-ES.

Our involvement ideally begins in the design phase and moves through to project completion, allowing for effective project management and the realization of occupant comfort, and environmental benefits throughout the life cycle of your building.

Through our in-house expertise and strategic partnerships with subject matter experts, we can provide you with comprehensive energy efficiency, sustainability consulting services. Our services include design, analysis and feasibility services for solar photovoltaic (PV) systems, building design reviews for high-performance building optimization, sustainability program development for building in-house sustainability capacity and occupant engagement, waste and water management assessments for both indoor and outdoor environments, and financing strategies and financial analysis for optimizing your bottom line.
TRAINING
We offer training in person introductory trainings to multiple day, intensive trainings leading to recognized certifications for green building and energy professionals.
We channel our in the field experience to develop and deliver insightful, engaging and best in class trainings that can be customized to meet specific client needs. Whether you’re looking to pursue a green building or energy professional designation, we provide training that’s right for you!

On Aug. 8, 2023, wind-driven wildfires on the island of Maui destroyed more than 2,200 structures and caused about $5.5 billion in damages. The most significantly impacted area was the historic district of Lahaina, where more than 100 lives were lost.
